Kath Williams

Born

December 1947, Yeadon

Background

Grew Up and lives in Yeadon .

Date of Interview

30th September 2021

“Hi Carlo – we have just listened to the interview it was brilliant thank you so much.”

Kath Williams (20th October 2021)

Kath Williams is a true Yeadoner who loves the town she was born and grew up in. Kath has been a leading light in Yeadon Theatre for many years, not only performing in plays, shows and pantomimes but also directing productions from small 30-minute plays to full blown musicals, pantomimes and West End plays.
Kath is a very level headed woman whose life has had its share of highs and lows as well as pure joy and a bit of terror thrown in!
Kath and her husband Richard, who were my neighbours for many years, are a lovely couple. They have managed to live a full life in the wake of adversity which would stop many of us in our tracks.

Please take into consideration when listening to these interviews that the meaning of language changes over time and that interviewees have not intended to cause offence by anything said which now may be thought to be unacceptable.

Recording this social history, chatting to different people about a whole host of subjects has been a real pleasure, such an interesting and I think worthwhile project for people to listen to both now and in years to come.

Thank you for visiting this website.
