“Geoff Flitton has given permission for his interview and pics to go on the Back Chat website.”

Emma Flitton-Morgan (Daughter, 23rd September 2020)

Geoffrey Flitton is a quietly spoken and unassuming man with hidden talents.

This man is a superb artist of unbelievable quality. He talks of his art as if it were an everyday occurrence – just a thing that he has always done – but his is not a run of the mill talent. You can see some of his paintings below and judge for yourself.

Geoff also hand painted on Silver Cross prams for the rich and famous and in his spare time was a member of a band – The Avengers – which had a constant flow of gigs.

This varied and full life makes easy and pleasurable listening.

Please take into consideration when listening to these interviews that the meaning of language changes over time and that interviewees have not intended to cause offence by anything said which now may be thought to be unacceptable.

Recording this social history, chatting to different people about a whole host of subjects has been a real pleasure, such an interesting and I think worthwhile project for people to listen to both now and in years to come.

Thank you for visiting this website.
