Hannah Knapp (Mother) 21st August 2021

If you have taken a Coronavirus Lateral Flow Test then you will know that it was no small thing for Emma to agree to undertake a test while I photographed and recorded her for this interview.
Emma is a young woman with a refreshing outlook on life who gives a balanced view of teenagers (she is 17) and their views on coronavirus; our prime minister; global warming; Brexit; school bullying and her life during a pandemic.
It’s a fun interview and you will learn at the beginning of our chat how unexpectedly Emma made her appearance in this world!
Emma I am very proud to say is my Granddaughter.

Please take into consideration when listening to these interviews that the meaning of language changes over time and that interviewees have not intended to cause offence by anything said which now may be thought to be unacceptable.

Recording this social history, chatting to different people about a whole host of subjects has been a real pleasure, such an interesting and I think worthwhile project for people to listen to both now and in years to come.

Thank you for visiting this website.
