“I am so pleased that I was persuaded by Fiona Quinton to be interviewed for this excellent project”

Carlo Harrison (5th December 2021)

Well, it’s taken a while – three years to be exact – but finally Fiona Quinton persuaded me to be interviewed for The Back-Chat Collection.

I hope you find my ramblings interesting and learn some things about me you didn’t know before!

There’s a mention of my family of course, along with Peggy (of Ledgard’s fame), Mike Grace, The Beatles, Peates Mill, Watermark Productions and more.

My beloved dogs Musket & Johnson feature alongside four marriages; horses; Aireborough Historical Society and my hardworking parents. I hope this interview will give you a pleasant 60 minutes of entertainment.

Please take into consideration when listening to these interviews that the meaning of language changes over time and that interviewees have not intended to cause offence by anything said which now may be thought to be unacceptable.

Recording this social history, chatting to different people about a whole host of subjects has been a real pleasure, such an interesting and I think worthwhile project for people to listen to both now and in years to come.

Thank you for visiting this website.
